Workshop- The Stock Market

June 19^th 2012 was the day that four young entrepreneurs of Midas Enterprise from SMK(P) Sri Aman attended a workshop at Bursa Malaysia. The Stock Market, organized by Bursa Saham Malaysia and AMCHAM was attended by 14 schools.

All the participants were very sporting during the workshop, including our own SA girls! The workshop started off with a first session of talks by speakers from Bursa Malaysia, such as Mr. Tim, Mr. Nikhil and a few others. The talks revolved around the finance area such as investments, stock buying, the economic state, etc. It provided us with many useful information that will definitely help us with our future encounters.

For the second session, there was a healthy competition for the best presentation on what we have learnt in the first session. Sri Aman’s young entrepreneurs teamed up with SMK Seafield for a presentation on the stock market. We certainly gained much more knowledge about various things during the creative presentations that were carried out in the form of skits.

We gained so much from the workshop and would like to thank Bursa Malaysia and AMCHAM for giving us such an amazing opportunity to learn! We’d like to express our gratitude to everyone that made this workshop happen.
