Corporate Social Responsibility #2

'Who you are makes a difference.' Has someone ever told you that ?

We discovered this amazing video, and I think everyone should watch this worth-watching video. This had inspired Midas Enterprise to carry out our second CSR.

We hand made some pretty blue ribbons and passed it to people whom we would like to appreciate for the impact they've made in our lives. There was one similar sentence we told the receivers of the ribbons 'Who you are makes a difference in my life.' I am sure that they were touched by our words, and that made us realize how strong words of appreciation and gratitude were, because they were simply rare in the community today.

To everyone whom has/ has not receive the ribbons, we would like to inform you that who you are does make a difference in someone's life! We appreciate you a lot! :D

BTW.
Happy Suicide Awareness Day!

Corporate Social Responsibility #1

Based on Wikipedia, Corporate Social Responsibility, in short CSR, is a form of corporate self regulation integrated into a business model. read more
Therefore, Midas Enterprise plans to do our very best to involve ourselves as much as possible when it comes to this aspect.

On the 23rd July 2012, during one of our weekly meetings, we decided to carry out our very first CSR! Since this is our very first, we wanted to start small, with our very own school! A school could be our second home, thus, we have the responsibility to take good care of it and make sure it is in good condition. After lunch, we invaded the store rooms and grabbed rakes, brooms and all sorts of cleaning apparatus and we hit the gardens! We cleared the drains and got rid of dried leaves. It was a fun bonding time together, but it wasn't effortless, we were tired, but the sight of our school compound being cleaner than before managed to overpower the tiredness.
A big thank you to all members for participating actively! Also, thank you Ms Amy for supervising us! :D

Pictures say it all!

YE ANNUAL SALE!

Joined YE for six months, just for one day.
-YE ANNUAL SALE 2012!
The day kick started with preparations and set up of our stall. Our very own lucky number nine stall!!

Our stall for the day!
The event continued with the opening ceremony.

'MAY THE SALES BEGIN!' The voice of the emcee echoed the entire hall through her microphones. And the sales begun.

We were definitely very proud and confident of our products this year. That includes our feminine fabric hair-ties, self-designed conversational button badges, felt accessories, unique and rare shrinky dinks, and not forgetting our signature bracelets, both wooden and string. Although our target market this year were females, but unexpectedly, we also had male customers showing deepest interests in our products. We came into a conclusion that our products could be unisex in the market. All of our products were great hits and were worthy to be proud of! With no doubts, we put them on and started promoting them to every passer-by!

Fabric Hair-ties!
Felt rings and shrinky dinks!

Look clearly. You could see our amazing shrinky dinks!

See! Told you we were super proud of our products!

We had many customers! They were happy, super happy, extremely happy and happy. .___.

Receiving advice and comments! :D

It definitely didnt feel like 14 hours in Bangsar village. Time was killed so fast, but quietly.
It was a productive day, experiencing something other people won't be able to experience, acknowledging the creativity of other enterprises participating in this program, and of course a good bonding session with our own company members!

Look it is Emily! Managing Director of DU.
Other schools did a great job too!

We carry our Sri Aman spirits wherever we go, that's what made us the 'Sri Aman girls' everyone defined us as. We are so proud of our company and of course our school as well. And most importantly, we are one family, therefore, we supported each other to the fullest despite the small age gap.
We are sorry if we offended any parties with our attitudes unintentionally.

As a form four, it marks the end of our YE journey, we are most delighted to be given the opportunity to be apart of the YE family. Also, this is definitely going to be one of the high school memories we will bring around next time. YE, we will miss you! And to our juniors, all the best for the years to come!

Viva la YE !

The end.
